Fall of the Samurai is a stand-alone expansion of Total War: Shogun 2, in which gamers fight through the battles and politics of the Boshin War. The main campaign takes place in the 19th century, 400 years after the battles of the original game, as advanced weaponry and foreign interests influence internal conflicts in feudal Japan.
