Sword Art Online Season 5 Release Date
Although the announcement of Season 5 or Sword Art Online: Progressive has been made by the official sources along with a new poster and a teaser trailer, there is still no news regarding the release date for the same. Many viewers are confusing the date “6 November 2022” mentioned in the trailer with the release date. However, that is not the release date. This mentioned date is actually when the story in Sword Art Online began.

The series revolves around characters named Kazuto “Kirito” Kirigaya and Asuna Yuuki in the future, who get stuck in the virtual world of a game called Sword Art Online (SAO). They struggle to survive once the role-playing game begins. The difference between the virtual world and their real one gets blurred consequently. The catch here is that if they die in the game, they die in the real world too.
