Pros:Low profile design allows air to flow around my CPU and HD5830. I have this in a x16 to x1 bracket, so going with a low profile card was a must. I ordered the low profile kit, but the adapter bracket was still too low so I had to make the bracket work. I see the new version of the x16 to x1 bracket on newegg is a bit higher which I think fixes that issue. So I ran the mod for the Nvidia driver 257 and it will pull about 20 FPS physx. Overclocking the NB by about 100mhz was necessary to get it up to 20 FBS, otherwise it was running at about 12 FBS.

Overall Review:Draws power from the motherboard which is draining power from the Lan and sometimes the ethernet has to be reset. Also I worry that it worry that the extra power will burn out the motherboard fasterSome say runing this set up is not necessary, however I see that the 12-20 Phys FPS I save from the main GPU adds to the Overall FPS, so basically if $30-40 is worth 5-10 overall FPS to you then go for it. I also ran this using a 9800GT and had similar Phys FPS Performance.
